Work Experience of Dr. Prerna Shinde

Last one first basis.

1.2008 till date

Working as Associated Professor in Akruti City Gold Institute for Infrastructure Management.
Organized and conducted Executive development Program for Site Engineers and Project Inchrges.
Taught subject related to Quality management, Material Management and Concrete Technology.

2. 2007 – 1995 worked as independent Consultant

Proprietor: Analytical Instrumentation

This is a Business Service Support Enterprise

Analytical Services
Organize the testing and analysis of materials using sophisticated instruments like XRD, XRF, GCMS, AAS, HPLC, DSC, TGAS and other as required and defined by the information need.

These analytical services help industry in following:
Formulation of the product,
Raw Material Finger printing thereby vendor analysis,
Quality Check – Methods and trouble shooting,
Standardization of process parameters using analytical methods,
Identification of useful analytical instruments for particular industry.

Setting up of Laboratory and Training
Identification of right instrument/s for the purpose and training of persons to get the benefits of using the instrument. Necessary calibration and standardization of instrument for the industry and suitable training programmes are organized.

Environmental Science
Industrial Hygiene
Identifying the Hazard and Risk Characterization, risk evaluation and quantification
Preparation of Material Safety Data Sheet
By generating necessary the data – using different analytical methods,
Quantification of hazardous elements according to OSHA. The data is useful for EU and Prop 65 norms.
3. 1991-95

Regional Sophisticated instrumentation Centre, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay 400076.As: Scientist, In charge of X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) and Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometer (GCMS)

Preparation of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for welding consumables after generating the required data.

6. Environmental Science
Industrial Hygiene
1. Identifying the Hazard and evaluation and quantification of the risk for polymer products: Lami Tube, laminates. Generating the data of the product for the same. Prepare the manual and writing MSDS and revision of MSDS.2.Study of Heavy Metals in Lami Tube, which Partial fulfillment ofrequirement for CONEG METALS AND EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND COUNCIL DIRECTIVE 94/62//EC, 1994, on packaging and packaging waste. For this work, we are want to validate the method which will be used for polymer.

7. Laboratory Setting and Training
Identification of right instrument for the user and installation of the instrument and putting it to use to get the benefits of using the instruments is undertaken by her.

Training of the personnel is an integral part of the exercise and has been done successfully.
